Light did not affect the germination of the seeds of Capsella bursa-pastoris, Persicaria perfoliata, and Commelina communis. The optimum germination temperature is 17¡É in C. bursa-pastoris and 30¡É in C. communis. The germination rates were not greatly affected by any of GA©ý, KNO©ý, KOH, and dry-heat. The germination rates of C. bursapastoris and C. communis were increased according to the period of storage at 5¡É. It was higher in wet storage than in dry storage. P. perfoliata was germinated only in the case of the wet storage condition, and the germination rate was increased by the period of the storage.
